Welcome, we need you. As an ally of the Unschooling School movement, you play a critical role in providing support, encouragement, and resources to parents, youth, and educators. As they step forward, you step with them. By working together we can redirect our public education system and truly place kids at the centre

WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?
An Ally can gather like-minded individuals to take our Crash Course. Together you can move through the content, reflecting, responding, and planning your approach to transforming your local school.
An Ally can host an info session at their local public library, sharing information, hosting dialogues, and inviting guest speakers around the topics of public school transformation.
Ally can connect with FL families and offer mentorship in their areas of expertise, such as wetland biology, local Indigenous knowledge, or classic cars. Whatever you are interested in, there will be a kid who is curious about that too.
An Ally can write an op-ed and submit it to your newspaper or online outlets, providing a local perspective on how your community can use these unprecedented times to innovate public education.
An Ally can run for school board trustee and use their platform to amplify the evidence for democratic, self-directed education and suggest supporting policies that reorganize resources in service of children.
There are endless ways - large and small - that will contribute to the fostering of our vision.
